Stay free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, because God has said: "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5)
Money is necessary for managing our homes and our responsibilities. If we are honest, who wouldn’t want financial stability? But it’s because of that “peace of mind” that many focus their minds on the earthly realm and forget the spiritual.
Even if it is done through righteous means and motives, "chasing after money" can lead us away from the Lord. When we are in a frantic pursuit of better financial conditions, we can open the door to sin. In addition, the love of money makes us ungrateful for what God has already done for us. God will never abandon us! Just as He cares for the lilies of the field, He cares for each one of us with love. Do not worry about money and do not make its fruits the goal of your life. Make God your goal, and He will increase everything else in your life. He might even grant you a more favorable financial condition.
